Sump Or Refugium

I really wanted to get a small refugium going and was wondering if there is a minimum size (so many percent of the display tank)?

Bigger the better. At some point it's not worth it.

My refugiums are at least 50% the size of my tank, but it is the only filtration I run so I like it like that.

What are you hoping to gain from the refugium? Looking for food production or nutrient export?

Yep bigger the better but even a small fuge can be useful.
