Been debating turning my 240L tank into a Malawi tank seeing as the main tank is now all cichlids/dwarf cichlids

Would something like this be suitable running along the back of the tank and what else would be suggested to add to make an optimal Malawi Layout?

The fish like a good amount of hidey holes to breed/defend etc..If you had that ^ layout in your tank the fish wouldn't mind it but they do like to dig about and create there own little territory. I think that layout you have will take up a lot of room in your tank to.This video is just a random one ive found on youtube but it looks nice and has a nice natural look to it. A tank with a good amount of rock will not only look good but keep your fish happy.

I would have thought your fish would need to be able to swim through the back of the cave as they will end up being cornered.

I did wonder about that atm im very much gathering info I've been keeping cichlids for a while but I appreaciate Malawis are an entirely new propasition
