So I finally got my tank decorated. As some know, I'm a little OCD so this has been hard on me, not to mention that I'm no good at decorating anything lol.

Please let me know what I should change/add. This will be a home to a baby Oscar soon hopefully (on my qualifying week of my fishless cycle). I know once the Oscar gets bigger the plants may not fair well but I'm going to try. That's why they are all up against the rocks and wood to
hopefully keep them secure.

Also keep in mind that the left side of the tank is viewable as well so it has to look good from there as well. Thanks for any comments!

Sorry for the bad pics, taken from my phone. The two rocks are zebra rocks

Looks nice, maybe add another bit of bogwood which stands up more to add some depth? Also is that java fern? It needs to be tied or glued to a rock or driftwood with the rhizhome (the green sausage bit that the leaves and roots grow from) uncovered otherwise it will rot. Yours looks like its under the gravel?

Id put in more bogwood, cover it in java fern and moss possibly as youre right, plants wont last long with an oscar!

What gallons is the tank?

I wanted to add some kind of branchy wood but I don't want to take up swimming space when he gets big. It is a 75 gallon. If it was bigger then I wouldn't worry so much about swimming room.

I guess I forgot to mention the plants in the tank are silk. They are silk amazon swords and what's supposed to be broad red leaf ludwigia. The live ones I had years ago were definitely red, not pink. Still pretty I guess.

I just tested my ph today and sadly the zebra rocks are making it rise quite a bit. I have to find something else to replace those with.
