hi. i have a 10 gallon tank with a opaline gourami, pleco, and a cory. so any stoking suggestions ? thanks! i have a whisper ex20 filter and a heater.

Corys should be kept in a group of 5 or more. The pleco will most likely outgrow the tank as very few species are comfortably accomodated in a 10 gallon.

I agree with saltynav. I would look to sell the plec (if you can back), maybe back to the shop where you got it? Then, bring up the shoal of Corydoras to about 5 or 6. Possibly look at getting another gourami or two and then pop back on!
There would still be room for some more but I would sort out the community you have first.

Yes corys needs to be with 3 or more of their own kind. The Opaline Gourami get to be 5-6" so that tank is too small for him. What kind of pleco do you have??? If its a common your screwed because that fish will out grow that tank so fast.

As of right not you should not add any more maybe 2 more corys cats but that is pushing it. Look into up grading your tank not over stocking the one you have. If you were to get a 20 or 30 Gal I would add more corys and a school of 6 small tetras like the Pristella Tetra so hardy and fun.
