In my Pre Vet class i cinvinsed my teacher to allow a saltwater tank in class. It is all set up whating on live stock.

Heres what i'd like to put in the 45:
5 Green Chromis
Pixy Hawkfish
Serpent Starfish
Electric Blue Hermit
Zebra Hermit


Any suggestion mainly fish no coral or anemones.

In all seriousness, ur current stocking sounds fun! Are you going to include a cleanup crew aside from the hermits and starfish.

I'd stay away from the serpent starfish as a 45g tank 36x12x24 and its small footprint has nowhere near enough sand room to support most stars other than perhaps dwarf brittlestars. I have that exact tank and won't even consider a starfish or any other sand-sifting organism larger than a nassarius snail for it.
