Ive recently had a few fatalities in my mbuna tank, so i am left with 3 fish, 2 yellow labs, and one cobalt blue zebra, im going fish shopping this weekend and wondered what good peaceful 'stressing peaceful' new fishys i should buy. and how many of each.

(obv its for the 35G)

A good option would be to increase the numbers of both species rather than adding new ones to the mix. You could build the numbers up to 4 or 5 of each, preferably 1 male and the rest female.

If you really want to go for different species, i'd reccommend Pseudotropheus Acei or Iodotropheus Sperengerae. Along with Yellow labs, these are pretty much the least aggressive species. Another possibility would be Pseudotropheus Saulosi.

Ferris's first idea is best, especially for the Labs, which are very social grouping fish and do best in numbers. Generally less species in a tank = less aggression in the tank.

hey thanks, yea i started off with 4 labs and 3 cobalts and were going to increase there numbers but at the time i had 2 caes in the tank and they killed a few before i realised wot was going on!
