a botom dweller in my tank that would also clean glass. tank is 55l sand on bottom?

I got myself a Bristlenose catfish and i'm really happy with him - but if you wanted a good glass cleaner i'd say get a couple of oto's - a small group of 2-3 in your tank should be good - just make sure to feed them (don't just leave them to clean and scavenge!) :D

Colin T and Umlaut are on the right track in my mind. An apple snail will do a great job of glass cleaning as will an otocinclus. Either one will keep the glass clean without causing other troubles. Right now, bristle nose plecs are quite popular so people will suggest them but the snail or oto is probably a better algae eater.
