trying to find a midground plant around 30cm high.Bushy & upright leaves would be good.Like the look of Alternanthera but don't think i can provide enough light.
Tank going to be around 1.8 WPG, easycarbo & TPN+ any thoughts?

Alternanthera would be OK imo, this plant is red by nature. It'll stay redish under that light, with what you're providing it with IMO.

Cheers.Thought it might lose lower leaves, worth a try though. My P@H has got the new pink variety in.

it will melt, so plop it in and then be patient, you may need to nip the tops of and re plant it. But it's worth it if you want a red plant.

what about some Hygrophila pinnatifida?

you're experienced enough to have a go at it though Stu, just cos it melted for me, it might do OK for you.
