Suggestions For A 7(ish) Gallon Tank

Not yet cycled and I haven't got the time to start it this month so I'm just looking for suggestions of what to put in it.

Yes, I have hard water but have pretty successfully had neons and other soft water fish until this outbreak of Ich. Which I figured out where it came from and I even got some free meds out of it

Anyway, what would you do with at 7 ish gallon tank?

Put african dwarf frogs in it!! Or how about a female betta, or a male betta, or a snail and some ghost shrimp. What about a fiddler crab? Those guys are pretty neat. Hmmm what else is there....a dwarf gourami? Not sure if they like company so that may not work.

Not sure how I would feel about the frogs. My boyfriend has 4 of the regular ones that are really cool but I'm just not sure about the dwarfs.

I'm all for bettas, shrimp and I might even try a snail.

I've had a dwarf gourami. Not sure if I want another.
