Suddenly Back In The Game

Hello,

My name is Katie and I am 20 years old. I used to have fish tanks when I was much younger all the time, however with all the school and business of being a kid I lost interest in it. However, recently my uncle passed away who was a huge enthusiast and collector. I have been given whatever I want, tanks, fish, air pumps, heaters, food, medicine, etc. He did not believe in filtration, instead encouraged the growth of algae and indigenous plants. I want to use filtration but it is so expensive and for how much there is I simply cannot afford it for all of them and will be selling/giving away many fish and tanks. Advice is greatly appreciated, as well as suggestions. Thanks so much and I look forward to becoming a part of the community.

The best place to get any help on questions you may have would be the 'Tropical Discussion' section, most members use that section. There`s a great bunch here who will help as much as they can.

no idea set up wise other that there are mostly live bearers
but there are also about 5-6 pearlscale angels, some tiger barbs, some silver dollars, yellow labs, and a whole bunch of unknowns lol


filtration and lighting are so expensive, non of which he had either

and really theres only one major pump that like is for a pond but he has PVC pipes all around the ceiling connecting it to a bunch of tanks and everything else is just walmart bought lol

What sort of sizes are the tanks and how many?
