Sudden Aggreesion

storm my pink betta has suddenly turned on his catfish. he has always tolerated the little thing, but suddely storm has been more hyper, mostly because he finally got his own heater i think. i was watching him and his ca was actually out and about for once so i started talking to the cat. storm charged at the cat fish and started to flare at it. then he looked at me like you human you pay attention to me not the other fish.
i am a little surprised storm is usally very calm betta he rarely flares. what should i do should i wait it out?

Sounds like jealousy lol. You'll have to stop showing the catfish any attention.
