Such Thing As 55 Gallon Bowfront?

Is there such thing as a 55 gallon bow front? I am thinking about buying this tank and stand from a guy on craigslist.com and I believe standard sizes are 46 and 72 gallons for bowfront tanks. Any who, I am debating between a 55 gallon tank 48x13x20 and 46 gallon bowfront with stand [URL="http/detroit.craigslist.org/for/487270030.html"]http/detroit.craigslist.org/for/487270030.html[/URL] which is 36x16x21....(Which he claims that it is bigger, but yet his measurements were the exact same as what i noted lol )......( also, i think it is an amazing deal, 180$ for 46 gallon bowfront tank, stand, light and glass top)



Tell me what ya think?
And how can i make this guy realize that his tank is not 55 gallons? lol


ps....i want the tank to put my puffer fish in i want 3 dwarf puffers....or if u think i should put them in my 29 gallon, and put the tropical set up in the new tank, let me know.

I have a 55 gallon bow front! The Juwel Vision 260.

Well, it's actually nearer 57 gallons, but close enough.

edit: sorry, just realisd you are in Michigan so you are talking US gallons. I'm talking UK. Thats what happens when you drink vodka and stella artois together.

I've never seen a 55gal bowfront in the US, the guy selling it is probably just mistaken. Sounds like a great price for it, if it's in good condition, I'd go for it. Oh, and 3 dp's should be just fine in a 29 gal tank, just make sure you plant well. Save the bigger tank for your community fish.
