Substrate Questions...

I recently put black sand as a substrate for my 60 gallon fw aquarium and I'm wondering what type of cleaning crew would be best to add? And also what kinds of fish would work well together? Attached is a picture of my tank, it's a little blurry Bc the iPad doesn't take very good pictures...

As for what sort of fish to stock the tank with..is your water soft or hard? What is your pH?
Are there any fish currently in it? If so, what are they and how many of each? Is the tank cycled?
