Substrate Question

Hey, prob a silly question but could I just use pea gravel from b&q as a substrate? TIA

if its washed well and free from dirt, sand etc etc then it will be fine.

when i need a few stones to decorate a tank with i grab a few from the driveway which is the same as pea gravel just bigger
