Substrate Change

I have ordered some Eco Complete Planted Aquarium Substrate to replace the ADA Aquasoil that has become very dusty. I aim to remove the fish, save the water, change the substrate and put the water and fish back after any dust has settled. Is there any need to wait before placing the water and fish back in?
