I have 5 swordtails in my 50 gallon tank; one really large male, a few smaller males (babies almost) and 2 females; along with some other fish
Right now (as I'm watching) he really large male is in one of those 'hyper' moods/stages and is chasing the other small males around furvor. He even went so far as to chase the brilliant rasboras! (not sure why as they look nothing like a male swordtail.)
After everyone was out of his 'territory'- the rasboras and other swordtails, he tried mating with a Turkish/turquoise rainbow! What a freak
Anyway, just though I'd share my "fishtail"
