My fluval 3+ has just broken! I went to clear it cos the clogging indicator was down; cleaned a load of gunk out, went to plug it back in again and nothing. Nothing at all is happening.
Anyone any ideas or similar problems?
Ive changed the fuse.
Thanks
Sarah

shake it!

they have a tendency to do this ive read and heard lol

If its clogging check the impellor,

If its clogging easily then you need a bigger filter

i used to when i normally plug it in and flick the impellor

try spinning the impeller with your fingers and it should go if not try the fuse then warrenty if not

Have you cleaned out the impellor? if your not aware it is the little white propellor fan bit that pulls out and is magnetised. Make sure you clean this in old tank water to get rid of any gunk that may have built up on it.

If there is still no life in the filter, perhaps try changing the fuse to rule out the possibility that the fuse may have just blown.

Where's the little white fan?? I cant find anything... Do i just pull the top off?
Thanks for all the advice!

Yes it will be in the top section where the motor is located, if I remember correctly you can pull the top section away from the media section on the fluvals
