Stupid Heater

i got a Lite 100watt heater for my 10 galleon tank because i read on another forum you should get a bigger heater so it wont work as hard and break.

so i got the heater and i am not impressed.

you cant really set the temperture you want you can only set it to hotter of colder.

i left it around half way between hot and colder actually a little under and i came home and found it at 100 degrees F



i am not happy with it do you think i should go back to the store and exchange it for a visatherm stealth
they look pretty good and you can set the actual temerature. Or do you think should just play around with it till i find the right settings.

unfourtnatly i lost one neon tetra and i cant find the other one so he is hiding or dead...

I would get the Visatherm. Cheap heaters aren't worth the money you save. Temps fluctuate, and they either stop working, or stick wide open.
