NO not really, normally you need 2 males to 1 female, i would go back and get them swapped for all males or all females or 1 male & 3 females, however if you mix sexes expect hundreds of fry

the ratio for males females stops the females getting stressed out by the males.

You really need at least 2-3females per male. If you have 3males and 1female you definately need to rehome either the female or all of the males, since with that many males they will pretty much just try to rape the poor little female guppy all the time, which isn't fair on her.
IMHO, its not really the petshops fault though, you should know the difference between the gender of the guppys and you should have been keeping an eye on the fish as the staff in the petshop netted them for you .
