Heck yeah, that would be so cool! It looks pretty good in shortfin VT (Heatstroke). Those pics don't really show his colour too well, they were taken a few hours after I got him home and so naturally he was a bit washed out looking. There's a Strudel in blue at my LFS... my mum has said NO MORE FISH but I'm seriously considering sneaking him in. If I manage it I can hide him in a 2 gal plastic container outside and she won't even notice. I'm just not sure whether I should or not because if she found out I'd be in LOADS of trouble for lying. I wouldn't normally but I think she's being a bit unreasonable about the fish- I do ALL the work and I've never failed to look after them.
I think they're called cellophanes or something?
my Seb has the best bubble nest of all my babies today!! There is a place near us sells lovely bettas, and they all swim about in quite good tanks. But, what put me off them was last time I went in they hadnt the colour I wanted. So the chap said I will pop out the back and get you another one. I said can I come and pick one myself, he said no sorry only staff allowed out there. he said I will catch you one. He came back with a betta in a dry bag in about 1 minute. i think they must all be kept in their shipping bags......havent been there lately!
