I think this molly might be pregnant. Im not sure if what the spot is I was just wondering if this is normal or should i do something?

its a bad picture. it dont really look like ick it looks more just like the black is coming off. It is not anything on her. it looks more like the scales are seperating. like stretch marks. who knows i guess ill find out soon enough.

As fishboy said she doesn't look pregnant and it does look like ick.
All mollies are very prone to get it especially when pregnant.
how long do you suspect she has been pregnant for?If she is,she only looks maybe she's only upto 2 weeks gone which would mean you could well have between 3-6 weeks left in which case she wouldn't have stretch marks at all.
When a mollie is about to give birth she goes from very rounded to almost a squared off shape at the anal fin!

sounds more like a fungus to me, i always thoght ich was like lil white spots on an area of a fish not just a big blotch of white.

Well two days went by and she is back to normal again.. I do think that she is pregnant. Probably by 2 to 3 weeks. It kinda concerns me what it could have been. Could it have been maybe a one of my catfish? they have not seem to be agressive tward other fish. All the mollies chase each other though. Guess ill just keep an eye on everthing and everyone and hope all goes well. As far as ick goes I know that was not the case. I have had fish die from that as well as fin rott. This was differant, sunken into the skin rather than on it. Who knows.
