A few wekes ago I wrote a post about a black molly changing color. He went very white, I thought it was old age, some people said it was changing color as they do..... well he is no longer with us.
He died a few days ago.
We have replaced him with a great looking black sailfin molly, and a black female.
The bad news is that a few of the other fish now have white spot!!!!
The local fish man gave us some stuff to treat it and told us to add salt water and to raise the temperature.
He says the white spot is caused by stress.
The only thing I can think of that could be stressing my fish is... they might not be getting anough food.
They are pigs, and fist in gets the food.
OR, the food. We couldn't get the regular food and brought color enhancing food.
All the fish are geting along fine in the tank, so I cant see that being a problem.
The barbs keep to themselves and dont annoy the others.
Its like a nice happy family.
Is white spot part of stress
