Strange White Stuff?

My male guppy was harassing one of my female guppies and all of a sudden there were loads of white particles floating about Does anyone have any ideas what this could have been?

Are these things in the water or on the fish?

They were floating in the water. They were tiny but had like 2 small balls attached to eachother!!

That sounds so strange. Was there any floating food in the tank that could have gotten kicked up? It could also possibly be poo. Maybe the male literally scared the poo out of the female? Can you take a picture?

It was just a sudden cloud of white stuff which all the other fish ate. It dispersed within a few seconds They were right in the centre of the tank and so i highly doubt it was food and it certainly didn't look like poo. It is a little bit wierd

well my tank has that when i added new water but the filter gets rid of it.

Could it have been sperm?

Happens with all of my livebearers! It's the male trying to mate and the female doesn't want to so he kinda misses and sperm goes into the water. I've had tons of it sometimes but none of my fish actually eat it......
