Strange & Unusual (cruel) Tanks?

well the site i got it from said it was a working used aquarium.

Because they would be breaking the law for that one since its over the engine and can cause lots of heat. Which breaks the law of Animal Cruelty.

I hate to burst your bubble, but if the car is in the USA it wouldn't be breaking any law whatsoever. Fish are not protected under law in the states.

Ergh... I can't stand "betta tanks". Usually they're sealed the the top meaning no oxygen cam get in and they have no filteration. Makes me want to poke out peoples eyes!

I would be willing to bet that if you peer under the tank there are pipes in and out of the tank/car so that it is plumbed into part of the central filtration system they have there.

Yeah thats what I think. It'd be interesting to know how they've set it all up. I wonder how long it took them to complete. I wonder if they put the fish in using the sun roof

the car doesn't provide a natural habbitat though. its like, a human living under the ocean, it's just not right. i try to provide a natural envirorment for all my fish, it's just better that way.

WHAT! If your going into that side of things fish being in tanks isn't natural for starters! I'm sure the good people of London Aquarium have set the car up with decorations so it's as natural as possible. But some of the decorations people put in there tanks must be wrong going by what you have said.

The bear bottle is just so cruel, you can't do normal water changes, the fish will grow BIGGER than the botle...
Others are fine, even the red car, cos it's only got bubles not fish just bubbles, altough I wouldn't risk a TV like that on the car (rain, snow...).

i have an original mini i had a little "accident" in (it's written off), if i had the money i would turn it into the tank. stick a full-roof "sunroof" in and you got access to the gravel, put all the filtration bits under the car, you could still keep it "natural", fish don't know what cars are, as long as theres gravel, lights a few plants and hidey holes, as far as they're concerned they're just in a big tank.


that beer bottle is horrific though.

The tv and Mac arnt bad at all.
They simply took a mac/tv screen, cut wires, glass etc out and use the "shell" and put it over a fish tank.

The bottle seems like some drunk college students sick idea

The floor, as said before, is probably re inforced and has such a think layer(s) of glass that it wouldnt effect the fish.

The first car aint that bad, the second...i dont know

I absolutley love the Imac and tv aquariums! That first car is very cool too! I'm just curious how they do the cleaning/feeding/water changes.. through the sunroof?

That last car looks to be a gimick for a car show.. i wouldn't get too excited about it. No fish would ever survive the heat and motion of being driven around all day.
