Strange Thing On My Yellow Fish

Hi i got 2 yellow fish (thats what they where named) i picked one that was totally yellow and a one that had a red line through it that i thought was its colour. A few days later i noticed its gills turned the same red (don't look inflamed) and a how to put it kinda white near its tail end. Now today noticed where the white was it has gone like pin prick blood blisters. it is eating well and zooming around quite healthy. When i got it i treated the tank for white spot as i always do just incase. So rules out that i think.

Does anyone know what this could be i could try and get a pic if this helps.

firstly what fish is it? a picture would help here.

Secondly you should never treat the water with something thats not needed, it will make the disease more tolerant to it.

Also what are your water stats?
