Strange Shaped Platy

Our 5 month old platy has a strange shape. From one side it looks normal and from the other side it looks fat (swollen). what could that be?

Could have a cycst or a cancer. these are quite common in some livebearers, cancers are very common in fish with lots of black on them.

Yes, and with black coloured livebearers is very common.

They are used in cancer research coz of this trate.
