Strange Ram

hi all, i have noticed tonight that my gold headed ram has one eye larger than the other. what i mean by this is that its left eye looks like its raised and its right looks flat to its head.
the fish looks normal and is swimming around with no problems, can this be normal in fish?

im no expert, infact far from it. but could it be pop-eye?

ok yeah ive just googled that and seen some pictures and i would say thats exactly what it looks like.
what may have caused it and what can i do about it?

I have never had this prob so wouldnt know where to begin but im sure there are peolpe on here that can help.... there might be a pinned topic on diseases on here somewhere to look at or otherwise check it out again on google for treatments etc. good luck with it

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

if the eye is bulging out it's popeye. You will need to treat with a bacterial med.
Has he injured his eye on something in the tank.
