Our community tank consists of - 2 mollies, 2 platys, 2 swordtails, 2 sterbi corys, 4 bronze corys, and some ghost/bamboo shrimp...

what should our standard tank temp be??

cuz our heater shorted out a few weeks ago and we just replaced it with a fully submersible whisper heater and it shot our tank temp up to about 83. all the ''google'' sites ive read have given me such a wide variety of numbers, our fish seem to be doing great, its been a few days with these warmer temps. but i just wanna make sure its ok.

ALSO: my black molly is in a seperate tank cuz she was havin babies and got ICH we got the 'Quick Cure' brand Ich treatment. it treats ick and protozoan parasites. it says treat for 3 days, and if symptoms are still there do a 25% water change and treat for another 3 days.. well after the 1st day of this treatment her spots were gone (also cranked tank temp to like 83) and she's remained spot free.. is it ok for me to do another 3 day cycle just to be sure before i relocate her back into my community tank??

I'd lower it to 78-80
Also in the ich yeah.

83F is a bit too warm for all but your C. sterbai and maybe the shrimp. I just don't know about shrimp. Most of the others would definitely be better off at 72F than over 80. The bronze cories are especially far outside their best temperature range. The livebearers would also do fine at that temperature.
When treating for ich, continue to treat the tank for at least 3 days after the last spot is gone. Otherwise you can expect the spots to return.

ty. we will fiddle with the thermostat and get the temp lowered, it doesnt have numbers just arrows ugh.

When your fish are all healthy, your minimum temp will be determined by your Sterbai and Swordtails, 24C.

Swordtails have a minimum temperature at around 21 C, so unless you see a need for a lower number for the C. sterbai, let that be your guide. I would run your tank at around 22C as a decent compromise value.
