hi all, after some advice.

the plants for my new tank should be arriving tuesday however my tank that they are going into isn't cycled yet so they will need to be stored for 7-10days maybe. now i know this isnt ideal but was thinking of picking up a 2nd hand tank of the bay locally with light heater and a small filter for the plants. will they be ok doing this? was going to do 2 daily 100% water change and add a small amount of plantamin eacdh time?
 what are peoples thoughts.

even with a non cycled tank i've put live plants in them.. then continued to cycle it.. allowing it to root before adding any fish and they all lived. as long as you have the proper lighting, substrate, heater etc etc then you should have no issue.

should be fine. just make sure that you don't over ferts or you'll have algae issues :(
