My main 125 Litre tropical tank is currently becoming overwhelmed with Molly fry which are constantly being moved into a smaller 5 Litre hospital tank.

I am soon going to have to start giving them away or selling them, which I am not entirely comfortable with, and neither is the rest of my family. Does anyone know of a way to stop them from breeding?

Only have males or females, or somehow seperate them.

You can get them neutered.

I'm joking by the way, if you really done want anymore then either split the males and females up but more than likely the females will still have fry as they store sperm. The other option is to sell/give away the females.

Separate the males and females.

There's no stopping them breeding. They are one of the most prolific breeders of the live bearers. All males or all females if you don't want the fry.
