Still planning every detail of my 75g and I'm worried about my stocking plan. Here's what I want. Any thoughts or suggestions?
This will be a fully planted tank...

4-Angelfish
2-Opaline Gourami 1:1 m/f
8-Khuli Loaches
1-Bristlenose Pleco
10-Five Banded Barbs {assuming I can find them or order them...no one local has them}

I know we will be pretty stocked at this point but I'm obsessive with water changes and maintenance and have two big filters so we will be fine with a full load as long as the fish will be happy. Honestly I would like to add a snail as well....

to be honest, for 75G i would consider that rather under stocked. the Khuli loaches, you will hardly see, probably the same with the BN.

Could I add 6 albino corys? Maybe some other individual fish for the top or middle...any suggestions?

for a 75g I would say you still have quite a bit of room to play with.

However, do you know if the five banded barbs have a reputation for being 'nippy'? I'd be a bit worried about the long trailing fins of the gourami and angels if they do.

We chose the five banded barbs in place of tiger barbs because they look similar....any suggestions on another schooling fish that looks as nice?

you could happily add 10 cory. I've got 12 in my 82g 4 foot, and they look quite sparsely populated.

Pentas are fine, they dont really nip, much more friendly and a far far better alternative to something like Tiger barbs.

You could fit about 20 corys into that setup without much hastle (but i do recommend a nice soft sandy substrate).

harlequin rasborra - great schoalers

cardinal tetra - although be wary of angels, they could snack on them (I keep neons with angels and have no problem - some say it's better if you let the angels 'grow up' alongside smaller fish so they dont see them as lunch when adult).

rummynose tetra - same as above, but better shoalers than the cardinals

any of these you could have 20ish no problem.

will cardinal tetras work with the Gouramis? I am hoping to find young gouramis and angelfish so we can just see what happens I guess?

Thanks for the help...I think I will add some corys and do cardinal tetras instead of the barbs... :)

I'm not familiar with the temperament of those gourami. Hopefully someone else is.

Let me be the first to recommend the awesome Lemon Tetras or Von Rio Flame Tetras. They look stunning when they school & the Lemons have the better shape in my opinion, while the Rios have the better color.

Another shoaling fish that doesn't relly school together that much is the Cherry Barb. You can add pairs of them and the males have an awesome red color while the females still look good with their brownish background color & orange stripe.

I have all of these in the same tank & for the most part, they all get along well. I wouldn't recommend Tiger or Five Banded Barbs with the other fish you have listed. I wouldn't take the chance with my Gouramis feelers.
