Well I made a topic awhile ago and soon I shall be purchasing the tank I like next week and should start cycling it soon after, and as I like to think ahead
I was wondering what shoaling fish would go well with these fish
Panda Cory
cherry barb

I do really like wcmm and I have been non-stop going on about them for ages but, well they are temperate fish whereas these are not and I do not want to shorten there life bye putting them in a tank to hot for them so I was wondering what other species of shoaling fish would go well with the fish above, I was thinking maybe headlight killifish or maybe red eye tetras the tank is quite large about 3 foot, any help?

All three of those fish should be kept in numbers, not as singles. The WCMM will be fine in the at 72F to 74F and so will the other fish. It is a matter of choosing the right place to go with temperature. The pandas will probably do better at that temperature than at typical tropical tank temperatures and the cherries are quite adaptable to cool, not cold, water.

I know they are going to be in more than 1 I just put the species name
I was thinking 6 panda cory, 8 barbs, 16 shoaling fish.
Oh ok thats good so I can still have the minnows without harming them with the higher temp? :hyper:

I currently have long fin zebra danios and rummy nose tetras with my cherry barbs and they look great as they shoal really well together.

I think neon tetras look great with cherry barbs.

German Blue Rams are awsome fish, you should get a paire.
Also, you can keep WCMM, just make sure that the temp dosn't get above 75.

The op cant put german blue rams in a tank with WVMM's, they are at totally different ends of the temperature scale regarding their requirements.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I think I'll stick with wcmm's or maybe red eye tetra's
