Hi guys,a couple of questions. I have at the moment 6 yellow labs and 1 afra[blue] i was thinking when it comes to adding fish getting either demasonis or elecric blue johannis. What ones would be better with the yellow labs? and although i dont think it would be possible can you put both together.cheers guys

Yellow labs are peaceful in comparison to other African cichlids, especially mbuna. P. demasoni are quite beautiful, but I've never seen them in with yellow labs. I think it will come down to how you stock your tank, how it's decorated, and how the territories are defined.

Hi drobbyb. date=23 jan 2010-4:35pm. My local dobbies had a large tank with only yellow labs and demasonis in it which was quite stricking with the contrast in colours. Thats where i first came across them. Thanks for your reply.

Please add pictures when you get them all settled in. I would quite like to see the contrast!
