I'm not really sure where I would put this topic so if it's not in the correct spot, could a moderator please move it?
Well my tank is really messed up right now...something went wrong. First, my pleco and ALL my snails (seriously, I had like over 70 lol) died. I haven't spotted one live snail since. And then, two of my neon tetras caught something and I had to put them out of their misery. Then, my big female mama molly died (Just a couple days ago) This is what I have left:
3 molly fry
1 neon tetra
This is all in a 15 gallon tank. I also have a five gallon Eclipse system which I split in half. I put my molly fry on one side, and a betta fish on the other side. I have 11 molly fry left in all. 3 in the 15 gallon and 8 in the 5 gallon. The fry are like 2-3 months old, but its like impossible to sex them! They wont sit still! It looks to me like all of them are female. But I am worried that they could be pregnant. They can mate when they are like 2 months right?
Anyway, I hate the look of my tank. It has black gravel, with all these rainbow little stones too. I'm thinking I'm gonna just take all the little rainbow ones out, and keep the black. I want to use real plants, but I want a bn plec or rubberlip, and I'm afraid they will eat the plants and dig them up. I'm also going to remove this little lava rock thing and put in some nice big stones and caves. I really like silver, white, and creamsicle mollies. I want maybe a mickey mouse platy or two also. But I wanted to know how many mollies, platies or swordtails I can fit in the 15 gallon. (I'm not a big fan of guppies, unless I find a really stunning one) I'll upload some pics in a minute. Oh, and if anyone wants molly fry, you can have as many as you want lol! =D
So any advice would be great. =)
