I've made a stocking list for a 30 gallon tank if I ever get one. For the most part it's basically purely-community fish. Will all of these fish be okay?

5 Bronze Corydora Catfish
2 Platies
7 Female Bettas
2 Rosy Tetra
4 Black Widow Tetra
1 Honey Gourami
5 Lemon Tetra

Comes to roughly 50 inches of space taken. The thing I'm most worried about are the female bettas, as they are the key element for the tank. Will they go along with the Honey gourami unlike male bettas?

Yeah, I might as well not risk it. Should I add another BW tetra, a Lemon tetra, a rosy tetra or a platy?

You could not add the rosies and add more of the widows and lemons.

I, personally, would not go with the platies because I never liked them much/ they, to me, would look out of place considering the fact that all of your other fish would be in groups.

As for the gourami, you could go with a dwarf, possibly, but as stated above, aggression (on the bettas' part as well as the gourami's) could become an issue.

Just stay away from the common trichogasters. :p

Yeah, I'd take out the platies.
If I ever do this I'll probably go with slow acclimation, introducing the seven female bettas all at once after the tank is cycled and then adding calmer species to see how they go on together seeing as how the females will basically be the main attraction of the tank.

If you did decide to keep the platies (have to admit I'm rather fond of platies), make sure you get two females, as you might have problems with only two males, and a male would harrass a single female too much.

I would go for either the bettas or a gourami but not both. Seems a pity to risk it really. If it was me, I'd go with the bettas. I would also skip on the rosy tetras and up the number of black widows to 6. Actually no- I would go for one group of tetras only- rosies or black widows or lemons, but not fewer than 6.
