Hi,

All the fish are compatible but the rams would eat any baby endlers.

bandit cory should be in 3+ more is better
cardinal tetra 6+ more is better
ram? a male and female pair
harlequin rasboras 6+ more is better
dwarf gourami male with 2 females
endler every male should have 2 or more females (being livebearers they breed like rabbits)

Are you doing a fishless cycle?

You haven't aded any algea eaters to the list. Good choices would be a group of otocinclus, a bristlenose plec or a rubbernose plec, also known as a bulldog plec.

i have a leopard plec in my other tank which i was thinking of bringing over to the bigger tank when its finished its cycle (yes its fishless) i wouldnt dare doing anything else since joining tff

so would you say to stock that amount of fish you or is that just a guide?

i was looking to a get bn for the new tank and leave the other where he is less stress for him

thanks for that any more opinions most welcome

as for the otocinclus never heard of him

The general guide is to have an inch of adult size fish per gallon of water (this only applies to fish growing 3 inches and under) Shuffle it about so you can fit a nice size group of the fish which you like most you might not be able to fit them all in the tank.

Otos are quite popular but a bit sensitive, you can usually get them 3 fro £5 or less.

ok i think ive got it thanks to those who helped me out much appreciated

what do you think of this?

6x bandit cories
2x rams
4x harlequins
3x dwarf gouramis
2x rubbernose plecs

would it work? to many? to few?

Hi,

I'd swap one of the plecs for 2 or 3 more harlequins and that should be a good mix. I'm not sure if the plecs are territorial which is the reason i say this and the harlequins will appreciate the bigger group.

You've got fish at all levels to keep the tank looking interesting.

Emma :D
