Stocking ...(yes Again!)

[How about a blue or gold (1x) gourami as a center piece fish? I have a 55g w/ 9 tiger barbs and and have one of each. They are both males however, but look pretty chasing each other(aggression isn't too much of an issue between the two since they have plenty of room to establish territory.) I've had the tank set up for about 4 mos. now and neither gourami acknowledge the barbs. and if they do, the barbs generally can get away pretty quickly.

Just a suggestion.......

2 x Tiger Barbs
3 x Red Platys 1 m & 2 f
4 x Cory Julii
6 x Danios ( 2 pearl, 2 zebra, 2 golden )
1 Hillstream Loach (yea i know!)
1 Pair Blue Rams OR 1 x Blue Gourami OR pair Dwarf Gourami

Any comments would be great

After looking at some info on the blue rams - what a beatiful fish! I've never actually seen a blue ram since the lfs in my area don't carry any - or if they do, they're gone when i visit there. I didn't look up much info on the blue ram but would they be compatible w/ the fish you have currently?
