Hi all,
So I'm thinking of getting a 10 gallon tank.
I am a beginner but I want to get it right.. I've been researching on how to cycle the tank and what temperature to keep the water at etc etc.
Anyway, I've come to the conclusion of stocking..
- 6 Guppies
- 4 Dwarf Cory Catfishes
- 10 Cherry Shrimp
I'm not too fussed about the breeding of the cherry shrimp.. Because I heard the guppies can control the population on the new fry.
I am trying to keep the tank equal.. though the Shrimp and Cory's are bottom dwellers.. whilst the Guppies are free to roam up top.
4 Corys because they are shoal species.. and 4 seems to be around the amount that they are safe
Is that over stocking the tank? Or is it just enough..
Should I cut down on the amount of shrimp?
Thanks.
