2 tiny Angels
6 Neon Tetra
a pair of swords
ans one guppy

2 Bristolnose Catfish
3 Small corys

segustions and criticiasem(spelling) welcome

Female or Male Betta?

According to many, housing a Betta with Guppies is not a good idea, as the Guppy will wind up losing a tail. :X

I honestly don't know about the others :/

Bettas don't seem to go well with any other fish in most people opinion. Id see how things go. If your betta gets aggresive and flares at the guppy then take it back or rehouse it. OR If your tetras start nipping at its fins then ditto. They can be put in a 2.5 gallon tank on their own if you want to keep it.

Stocking wise:
Betta 2inches
Angels really need an 18 inch high tank as they get very tall but get to around 5 inches in length.
Neons 1 inch
Sword tails 4inches
guppies 1.5

28inches in total roughly. Your tank is around 31 US gallons. So going by the approximate 1 inch of fish per US gallon rule you are pretty much fully stocked already. You could probably get away with 3 / 4 pygmaues corys as they only grow to around an inch. They look pretty cool, school together and are really active, mine always swim up to the surface and back throughout the day.

I wouldn't add any more than that. Remove the betta and you could probably add one bristle nose but not two as they can grow to 4inches each.

thanks for the advice

yous have been very helpfull

I agree with jonesyUK, the betta is better off in its own tank. I've never had a successful experience keeping one with a community tank myself. Also, guppies and swordtails like to be in groups; you really don't have room for a group of swords, maybe you can trade them for more guppies.
