Can you tell me if this would be ok?

3-Kuhlie Loaches
3-Yoyo Loaches
1-BN Plec
2-Angelfish
2-Opaline Gourami
4-Glass Cats

Does that sound alright for a 55gal?

Will any of these fish eat my angels fins?

Thanks,

-Logan

Gourami are fin nippers so you might want to change your mind there.

Any ideas on an active, peaceful, mid-surface dweller?

To replace a gourami....

Or do you know any fish to replace the angels? They'd have to be really pretty, peaceful mid-dwellers if you know of any.

A small shoal of giant danios would be nice. They basically are giant danios, and they get to about 5 inches. That would give you:

TOP
4x giant danios (5-6")

MIDDLE
2x opaline gourami (5")
4x glass catfish (4-5")

BOTTOM
3x khuli loach (4")
3x yoyo loach (6")
1x BN plec (about 6")

You asked for a suggestion for a midwater or surface swimmer that's peaceful and pretty, but the glass catfish is a midwater swimmer, and you already have four of them listed. So, I gave you one suggestion for a top dweller (giant danios). Other options include a shoal of small hatchetfish, pearl/leapord,zebra danios, rosy/cherry/golden barb, or some larger rasboras. There is the possibility that some of the larger fish (gouramis) might bully some of the smaller species of barb and danio that I listed, so do research and talk to other people who have kept these combinations of fish. Whatever you decide to go with, good luck!

Thanks man :D , sounds like a final (possibly temporary) stock list to me.

Thanks for the info, just what I was wanting to know, thanks.

Much appreciated,

-Logan
