I haven't been on here in some time, but I've decided to check out how these forums have changed. Anyways, I have a question in regards to stocking a 10g tank
I currently have 1 red wagtail platy, 1 mickey mouse platy, 1 female betta, 1 otto, 1 black mollie, and 1 dalmation lyre tail mollie in a 10g tank due to a mishap with one of the other 10g tanks
which got broken. There is no behavioral issues.  all livebearers are female.  and the betta is very docile. It could be 4-6 mos. before being able to replace the tank as I wait for the insurance co.
Could this setup work with 50% weekly water changes?

I think the otto would be unhappy on it's own to be honest.. also I've heard mollies can get up to 4 inches depending on what kind you have which would definitely require a bigger tank!

id say the platies and the mollies are unsuitable due to the fact that they need more swimming room.

In the short term, yeah fine. Long term, mollies and platies both need something a bit bigger.
