Stocking Problems

Last year i stocked my 90L tank with:

5 Tiger barbs
5 Penguin tetras
11 Neon Tetras
5 Corydoras

But i had some tank problems and lost quite a few fish....And with a fairly recent death i'm down to

4 Tiger barbs
2 Penguin Tetras
8 Neon Tetras
5 Corydoras

So what can i do with this tank?

the original stocking was quite a lot for a 90l tank.

do you know why the fish died?

tiger barbs do have a fiesty nature and really need to be in larger groups which a 90l may not be up to im affraid. i would rehome the remaining tigers and add to the group of neons. maybe remove the prnguin tetra too unless you really like them as they again prefer to be in larger groups and look awesome when in this group but again a 90l is a bit small for this to happen....

maybe add a pair of rams or dwarf gourami as a center piece fish or just go with more neons and add some plants

Try the classified section here. Otherwise gumtree, local fish groups on facebook, a reliable LFS.

as salam says really try selling them on here or gumtree and if no luck offer them for free to someone who can take them or last resort take them back to an lfs and see if you can part exchange them for other fish. some lfs will not give anything for fish taken in and some will so choose one that will help you out a little.

Ok, so if I rehome the penguin tetras and the tiger barbs, maybe add dwarf gourami?
