alright im looking for some community worthy dwarf-medium sized cichlids any suggestions? thx

Angels and Rams possibly? They're generally peaceful and can be put with tetras and such. Severums are pretty calm too normally, they do get a little bigger though, and you can't have real plants with them.

I would personally do something like a pair of Jack Dempseys, or Green Terrors, they're both beautiful fish. Then a school of Silver Dollars or Tiger Barbs or something.

Why not a firemouth? medium-ish, and not too roudy.

In general convicts are real aggressive. If your wanting a peaceful cichlid community you don't want them. Other than the convict all other suggestions look good to me.

Convicts are aggressive fish. Mine will kill anything whether they're in pairs or not. They may not be able to take on the bigger, meaner fish, but they will kill everything else.
If you want a peaceful tank, don't get convicts.

well today at the fish store i was recomended yellow labs and blue acura's? what do you think?

Yeh,thats fine.Although labs are malawis quite a few people keep them with new worlds.I would go with 2x kribs,2x Thorichthys meeki,2x blue acaras.Or something like that, maybe cut out a few cichlids for dithers.

I would NOT keep yellow labs in a New world Cichlid aquarium! Blue Acaras' fine, but don't get yellow labs, please!

2x Thorichthys meeki,2x blue acaras

That seems like an Ok match - there's plenty of room in a 75G for 2 pair.

Its not that they wouldnt get along you cant keep labs with new worlds as the water parameters are completely different labs will need a ph of around 8 where as new worlds need it much lower.
