Yellow Labs are omnivorous, so they are capable of eating most food but I tend to feed them more vegetarian food to avoid malawi bloat (which doesn't happen often by the way to omnivorous mbuna such as Yellow Labs).
Personally, I feed them by rotating New Life Spectrum pelletes, OSI Spirulina flakes and Hikari Excel pelletes. I also give them fresh cucumbers once a week.
