Meant to say, if you go to you local MA, they should be selling something called "pure" made by Evolution Aqua. They are bastically a slow release form of bacteria. Its aimed at clearing cloudy tanks etc but they also work really well whilst the tank is cycling and *especially* in the Fluval Edge Tanks

You can pop a couple of the little balls into the empty section to the left of the sponge and media secion where the flow regulator is.

I got some Nutrafin Cycle with my tank, is that the same thing or is Evolution aqua more effective?

Technically the Evolution Aqua is a fairly similar product but I often use it alongside other products, its not much and in your size tank, at 1 ball a week it would last 50 weeks for £10 (or something like that!). I used it with no other bacteria supplement and it worked the same as cycle, its more that it works out better value too i think
