hi all, my tank is 96 litres and water stats are ok.

i currently have in my tank -

2 rams,
6 tetra
6 harliquins
2 adfs
3 platties

a friend is getting rid of her tank and has asked if i would like to re-home her fish.

would it be ok to add more fish to my set up? she has 5 beunos aures tetra, and 4 panda corys.

i understand this may be pushing it a bit but im willing to carry out all maintenance and will get a bigger tank when possible.

cheers for your help guys.

Hi,

You might get away with the corys, with extra water changes and depending on the temperament of your rams but i would give the buenos aires tetras a miss unless you plan to upgrade really soon. They grow 3 inches long and eat plants, i have one on its own that i rescued from my boyfriends brothers "tank of death" and as its fully grown i really don't want to get more, it swims with my black skirts and seems happy enough but it likes to munch the plants.

If you are getting a larger tank soon, then yes... if not, you'll be way overstocked imo...
