Yep, it’s so easy to end up with more tanks, our house now has a 180L, 135L, 100L, 45L, 30L, big pond, and I’m gaining a 20L soon. Oh and we set up my grandma a 120l tank to keep her company :) fish obsessed family here. I’m loving shrimp breeding but staying away from anything else with neon tetras and bettas in my tanks now. My first ever tank had 1 female platy who I later discovered can actually wait and decide to get pregnant a while after being with males. It was so exciting to me though

After keeping many species of fish from South America, Africa, Asia, Central America and Australia, I find that shrimps and inverterbrates are more interesting than fish... LOL

But there are still some interesting fish like the Panda Loaches, Whiptail, Twig catfish, Pleco, etc...

Yes we love bn plecos, so cute and fun to watch :) I did consider larger shrimp for a while but after looking at them at the lfs they kind of freak me out a bit haha!

Originally based on my observations. I looked it up because I thought mine may have got sterile after too many generations of in breeding and found several accounts that said the same thing. Some also said that they had moved the shrimp into a different tanks and they immediately started up again. One way or another the population in my 15G goes up and down but has never looked to be overstocked - although there are times when I have a lot of shrimp :)

Useful info.
Thanks.

Yes, I was just concerned about getting food to them with them being filter feeders.

Just feed them with powder food or fine fish food.
I poured some fine fish food into my tank.
They will pick up the food with their fans/brooms like "hands".
Use sand for your bottom as they will sweep through the sand for food.

I also soaked some Shrimp King food and Hikari mini algae wafer in a small cup of water.
After the food have soften, I squashed them into fine pieces of food and pour the whole cup into the tank.
They will sweep the tank for food.
I think dont use gravel as it seems harder for them to pick up the food.

There is this food specially for the Bamboo shrimp. It's in powder form.
