Stocking Ideas

Got a new 10 gallon tank last week, not too sure on the dimensions but its pretty much cube shaped. I was looking at stocking it up when I next have time off and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of what I could put in? I was kinda thinking of something different to the usual tetras, although I would be willing to put some in. Cheers

1x Betta
or
1x Dwarf Gourami
or
1x Scarlet Badis
8x Celestial Pearl Danios
or
10x Mosquito Rasboras
8x Pygmy Cories
And some cherry shrimp for algae control

andys aquatics in rockferry has some corydoras pygmeus in at the moment, they also have sparkling gouramis and ember tetra. all abit different to the norm and all suitable for a 10 gal. wher in wirral are you

Ah, 10 Uk gallons is about 12 US gallons. I now recommend!

You should do maybe 3 or 4 scarlet badis, a couple otocinclus, and some red cherry shrimp. The only problem with scarlet badis is they are hard to find and will generally only eat live foods.
