I've been totally obsessed now of what to stock my tank with. I have given up on Swordtails, but I have 2 Platies, 3 Kuhlis, and I ordered an Otto (Ottocinclus). I was also thinking of getting 1 more female Platy and a pair of Honey Gouramis. I have a 10gal., and I just don't know what to stock it with. (Also recommend any stocking changes! :) I don't want any disasters...)

So currently you've 3 khulis, 2 platies and an oto on order?

What about something along the lines of (please don't quote me too much on these):

eg)
6 khulis
2 platies
3 otos

6 khulis
8 small fish (microrasbora, ember tetra, etc)
3 otos

Alternatively, what about a male betta instead of 'small fish'? I don't know about honey gouramis.

Just a note, otos like mature tanks with algae (I think there are two types that they'll eat, though I can't remember quite which types). If you run out of/are low on algae, then you'll need to feed them things like algae wafers and veggies like zucchini.

Sounds good. :good: I have been interested in Bettas.... Also, can I go with 3 Platies? (Just a thought I've had for a while) But still, good suggestions. I'll definitely stay away from Crowntail Bettas, if I'm going for one. :D
P.S: I thought Ottos ate leftover food as well. If not, I'll make sure to get something for them :)

I don't think they eat leftovers, though might be best not to quote me on it. You might get away with 3 platies, not 100% sure.
