Stocking Ideas

hi in my 60L which is divided 20L:40L the 20L side has a betta but the 40L has a dwarf gourami (well two but dont think one of them will make it My link)
what tank mates could go with the gouramis?
the tank is heavily planted with a gravel substrate?
the temp is around 28 degrees

Do you have any general ideas about what you want?

Otherwise, I would give a vote for Espei Rasboras, Ember Tetras, Otos, Shrimp (not all at the same time). In other words, a shoal of 8-10 schooling fish and a group (6) of something to clean up the bottom.

im not to sure on very small fish so just looking for ideas at the min.
ember tetras look quite nice i will have too keep an eye out for them
i haven't had much success withe ottos up until now but might give them another go.
i have shrimp in my main tank and they are hiding most the time so probably wont get any more.
i would like some pygmy corys but the substrate is quite sharp and the water is quite warm so they aren't relay an option.
any more ideas?

Any particular reason why you are keeping them at such a warm temp? 23C would save you money; raise the potential oxygen levels; lower their metabolism (so they need less food); increase their potential lifespan.

i thought gouramis and bettas needed 24-26 C
if not i will lower it a bit.
